Responding to a township commissioned recreation facilities study a diverse group of community-minded individuals joined the cause to build a strong, active, healthy community. 4 great facilities, 4 your health, 4 your family, 4 our community’s future. The foundation retained Campaign Coaches to rally community support for a multi-use recreation facility in Elmira and 3 other community centres, in towns, across the township. The result was a $5.6 million capital campaign to support the redevelopment of the much needed aging recreation facilities.
